She was predeceased by : her parents, Frieda Beth "Betty" Barlow and Bennie Louis York; and her sisters, Linda Collins and Lisa Montgomery. She is survived by : her husband Marvin; her children, Traci Barnhill (Edward Favors) and John Barnhill (Priscilla); her grandchildren, Keegan Favors, Justin Barnhill, Michelle Barnhill and Katharine Barnhill; her great grandchildren, Presley Barnhill, Whitlee Barnhill and Ryver Barnhill; and her siblings, Penny Cardwell, Tina Yaws, Jodi York, Bennie York, Jr. (Tammy) and James York (Laurie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (308 E 3rd St, Nixon, TX 78140). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Gillett Cemetery (470 County Rd 283, Gillett, TX 78116).
