He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Bruce Poole and Wynona Poole; and his brothers, Jerry Don Poole and Danny Poole. He is survived by : his wife Marie McBrayer; his children, Linnet Pichette, Barry J. Poole (Brenna) and Jonathan Poole (Tanner Duggan); his grandchildren, Zachary Pichette (Ciara), Linnsi Pichette, Annah Pichette, Simeon Pichette, Timothy Pichette, Malachi Pichette, Peyton Poole, Kaitly Poole and Patrick Hart; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Blair Pichette, Kinleigh, Leighla Pichette, Ashton and Cali Hart; his grandchildren, Pitou and Rose McBrayer Chan; and his adoptive daughter Debbie Arana.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (4620 Lemon Rd, Big Sandy, TX 75755).
