She was predeceased by: her parents, William Slack and Elsie Maud Slack; and her husband Irvin Bowden. She is survived by: her brother-in-law T. J. Bowden; and her friends, Jim and Ellen McPeek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 304 Buffalo St. Gilmer, Texas 75644.
