She was predeceased by: her husband W. V. Ray (Valton); her parents, J. R. Gaston (Ray) and Coy Lou Sanders Gaston; and her brother James Bobby Gaston. She is survived by: her daughter Natalie Hendricks Pitt; her grandchildren, David Blake Brown and Audrey Raye Brown; and her great grandchild Katherine Elizabeth Brown. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Croley Funeral Home - Gilmer (305 W Harrison St, Gilmer, TX 75644). A burial was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at the Hopewell Cemetery (8020 FM 49, Gilmer, TX 75644).
