Dennis Mochell Lytle Obituary

We announce the death of Dennis Mochell Lytle of Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 79. Dennis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Al Lytle and Frances Lytle; his brothers-in-law, Graham Sheffy and Verl Whittenburg; and his son-in-law Paul Bemis.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lytle; his children, Marci Bemis, Amanda Lytle and Shawn Lytle (Kathyrn); and his siblings, Jerry Lytle (Judy Ann) and Karen Sheffy. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 2 wonderful bonus Step Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
