With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Eugene Spencer of Gilmer, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Spencer and Rayner Moon; and his brother James Richard Spencer. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Nelson; his nieces, Elaine Joyce Tevebaugh, Jolene Spencer and Jolie Parrish; and his cousin Bettye Ezell Renner Wheeler.
