He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. C. Voyles and Neva Cobb Voyles; his wife Linda Voyles of Gilmer; his sons, Sky Voyles (Dana Cross) of Gilmer and Clay Voyles (Stormie); his sister Joan; his brother-in-law Howard Petty of Mt. Pleasant; and his grandchildren, Serenity Ballard, Marialis Estrada and Isabella Guerrero.
