He was predeceased by: his mother Jeannine Bowden; his brothers, Gary Bowden and Kenneth Bowden; and his children, Alan Aguilar and Tonya Dubois.

He is survived by: his wife LaNita Bowden of Gilmer, TX; his children, Devin Bowden (Lindsey) of Longview, TX, Ashli Braley (Jamie) of Gladewater, TX and Jenifer Jameson (Jason Hogg) of Gladewater, TX; his grandchildren, Landon Bowden, Colton Bowden, Treston Braley (Kaitlyn), Gavin Braley, Addisyn Braley, Jordan Jameson (Cole Giles), Abby Windsor (Logan Andrews), Bailey Morgan (Lindsey Sechrist), Kade Kersh, Knoxx Thrower, Sela Aguilar and Cameron Aguilar; his great grandchildren, Gyntree, Laykin, Hazel and Kolin; and his sister Delight Bowden of Longview, TX. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to New Beginnings Baptist Church in memoriam of Neil Bowden.
