He is survived by: his mother Elvetta Atkinson; his wife Stancy Griffin; his children, Branden Griffin (Sarah), Alyssa Smith (Brennen), Daphne Griffin and Maci Griffin; his brother Lenon "Yaqui" Griffin, Jr.; and his granddaughter Sofia Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645).
