He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Lee Skipper Bullock and Clark Bullock. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Bullock (Nicole) and Cody Daniels; his sister Rhonda Bullock; his grandchildren, Carson Bullock, Brayden Bullock, Trystah Bullock, Addisyn Daniels and Colbi Daniels; and his nephews, Christopher Lee (Jessica) and T. J. Lee (Brittney). He is also survived by great-niece, several great nephews, and 1 great-great niece.

In lieu of flowers, Joel wished for donations to an animal help organization.
