With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Gibson of Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, June shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid June farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Adams Witcher and Geneva Jane Sparkman Witcher; her son Shawn Gibson; and her sister Inie Faye Pickitt. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Gibson; her children, Christopher Lane Gibson (Beverly) and Amanda Gibson Hawley (Wade); her sister Gloria Morrow; and her sibling's children, Charles Pickitt (Suzanna), Michael Pickitt, Cynthia Wooten (Bill) and Patti Gunby. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
