He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Doyle and Estellee Gage Steelman; and his siblings, Billy Gene Steelman, Novelle Green and Ann Puig.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Steelman; his children, Karen Shirley (Gary), Christina Purcell (Michael), Melissa Evans (Ricky) and Jason Steelman; his siblings, Clovis Steelman, Jimmy Steelman, Sue Hagler, Janice Lyles and Mike Steelman; his grandchildren, Joshua Hall, Rachel Hall, Brianna Black, Justin Evans, Dylan Evans and Chloe Steelman; and his great grandchildren, Adleigh Hall and Carter Hall.
