He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Watts and Ester Watts (Fannon). He is survived by: his wife Jana; his children, Dewayne Watts, Donald Watts (Lisa), James Hanson, Jr., Amy Piersall, Monica Hardy and Marci Smith; and his siblings, Lawton Watts, Alvin Watts, Jr. and Joyce Summerhill. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
