He is survived by: his wife Ora Lee Small (Hanson); his sister Sandra Lloyd of Skiatook, Oklahoma; and his children, Belinda Menasco (Marc) of Montgomery, Texas, Pam Edge (Tom) of Gilmer, Texas, Melanie Lambdin (Kevin) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kelli Creed of Gilmer, Texas and Tim Small of Gilmer Texas. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Upshur County Shares, 106 S Montgomery St, Gilmer, TX.
