He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Hankins of Gilmer; his children, Jennifer (Tony Steed) of Hallsville, Lynzi (Brad Dassonville) of New Diana, Anthony Hankins of Gilmer and Bradley Hankins of Gilmer; his grandchildren, Isaac, Kylee, Haley and Olivia Steed of Hallsville; his sons, Nevaeh Gibson (Dassonville) and Natalee Dassonville of New Diana; his sister Eva (Dale Pointer Jr) of Longview; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Pointer of Mexia, Darrell Pointer of Gilmer and Charlie Pointer (Pamela) of Kilgore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, host of family and friends.
