She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Shields and Juanita Evens Shields. She is survived by: her husband Paul Garrison; her children, Robyn Wilson (Jonathan), Holli Stanley (Mark), Gabriel Garrison (Misty), Justin Garrison (Brittany) and Nathan Garrison (Chelsey); and her grandchildren, Rylee, Audri, Bradley, Emma, Saegar, Benjamin, Scottie and Jade.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Croley Funeral Home - Gilmer (305 W Harrison St, Gilmer, TX 75644). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Croley Funeral Home (305 W Harrison St, Gilmer, TX 75644).
