He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Crone and Goldie Crone (Meeks); his son Timothy Dewayne Crone; and his brothers, Erben Crone (Elizabeth), Charles Cloyce Crone and Lewis Crone.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Crone; his children, Troy Crone, Jr. (Terri), Vickie Dean (Jerry), Jimmy Crone (Becky) and Cathy Crone; his grandchildren, Eric Lopez, Victor Lopez, Adrienne Crone, Renee Harper, Caitlin Green, James Dean and Desiree Crone; his brothers, Mike Crone and Bill Crone (Tommie Jean); and his sister-in-law Sue Ellison. He is also survived by 13 great- grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home (409 N Kaufman St, Mt Vernon, TX 75457). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Old Saltillo Cemetery (664 Co Rd 3357, Saltillo, TX 75487).
