He is survived by: his wife Maria Marsalis; and his children, Beth Wadlington (Charles), Barbara Marsalis Cowart, Peggy Lynn Payne (Ernie), Paula Richardson, Janice Gage (Richard), Julia Salazar (Mike Bermea), Kralyn Thomas (Amy) and Bryan Thomas. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
