Ethel will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Though Ethel is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Ethel’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lee Robertson and Ethel Annie Johnson Robertson; her husband James "Gator" Wallace; and her grandson Stetson Caldwell. She is survived by: her children, Darrell Caldwell, Sonia Hernandez, Johnny Faye Long and John Marlow (Angie); and her stepchildren, Tami Macias (Javier), James Edward Wallace II, William T. Wallace and Dominic Ward. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home - Gladewater (401 N Center St, Gladewater, TX 75647). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Abundant Life Church (407 Money St, Gladewater, TX 75647).
