He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Truman Boyd and Vera Bettye Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Betty Boyd; his children, Todd Boyd (November), Karen Potter (Michael) and Lisa Arrington (Jay); his sister Bettye Ann Humphries; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Samples (Todd), Patrick Boyd (Nequoia), Jacob Boyd, Katherine Potter, Rachel Potter and Boyd Potter; and his great grandchild Story Samples. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
