He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Thompson and Susie Thompson; his wife Juanita Fay Thompson; and his sons, Haskell Thompson Jr. and Doyle Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Louise King (Ronnie) of Gilmer and Loraine Carrigan of White Oak; and his grandchildren, Dustie Thompson Johnson (Jamie) of Midland, Tammie Thompson Logsdon (William) of Midland, Ronnie King Jr. (Batina) of White Oak, Tessa King of Gladewater, Tanya Carrigan Holman of Gladewater, Shelli Carrigan Maines (Matt) of White Oak, Randy Carrigan (Maureen) of White Oak, Tina Carrigan Wilson of Throckmorton and Justin Thompson (Gerri Lynn) of Wilburton, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (4619 Judson Rd, Longview, TX 75605). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
