We announce the death of Jaycen Chad Reeves Mulvihill (Gladewater, Texas), born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on June 18, 2026, at the age of 53. Jaycen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack, Joyce Mulvihill of Houston, George and Inez Reeves of Gladewater; his uncle Hugh Reeves of Gladewater; and his aunt Tam Stack of Deer Park.
He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Campbell of Mansfield and Michael Reeves; his stepmother Karleen Reeves of Longview; his siblings, Seth Reeves of Gilmer, Brad Reeves of Hallsville, Will Campbell of Cedar Hill, Raven Reaves of Austin and Amy Hopkins of Elysian Fields; his nieces and nephews, Jessie, Chase, Jett, Jagger, Austin Reeves, Judd, Nate, Case Hopkins, Aidan, Slade, Rhyder Campbell, Ava, Ellie, Annie, Carly Reeves and Harper Campbell; and his great-niece Darla Reeves.
In memory of Chad and his long battle, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Texas.
