He is survived by: his siblings, Glenn Karnei of Goliad, Terry Karnei of Weesatche and Barry Karnei (Nadine) of Weesatche, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Dustin Karnei, Ethan Karnei (Ashley), Clara Simpson (Anthony), Melissa Karnei, Samantha Herbold (Eric) and Amber Zwahr (Trent); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava Karnei, Chevy Zwahr, Owen Herbold, Emma Fox, Blakely Zwahr and Annelyse Karnei.
