He was predeceased by : his siblings, Edmond Malatek and Mary Ehler; his siblings-in-law, Floyd Shaver and Paulette Malatek; his niece Jana Rae Malatek; and his nephews, Jason Finch, Dwayne Malatek and Chris Finch.

He is survived by : his wife Jeanette of Gonzales; his children, Terry Cabler, Gary Malatek (Tammy) and Billy Rhoades (Ella); his grandchildren, Candy Henson (Cole), Jessica Cabler, Christian Malatek, Keith Gerald, Damaris Green and Cody Green; his stepgrandchildren, Amber Howington (Scott), Brittany Dunaway, CJ Mccullough and Derah Agouridis (Costas); his great grandchildren, Jameson Chappell, Emmett Henson, Trigg O'neal and Trace Brown; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Riley Howington, Ayda Rosenbaum, Aurelious Johnson, Stevie Rosenbaum, Braelyn Rosenbaum, Anieran McCullough, Aydrianna Rosenbaum, Adyson Rose Howington, Lilly Agouridis, Katerina Agouridis and Athena Agouridis; and his siblings, Raymond Malatek (Pam), Betty Tieken (Harold), Ruby Shaver and Barbara Jean Vanek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
