He is survived by: his wife Louene Avant; his children, Jarett, Becky and Katy; his grandchildren, Jaelyn Trent (Eldridge) of Gonzales, Peyton Ann Harkey of Gonzales and Jackson Trent of Gonzales; and his siblings, Faye Goode of South Carolina, Jewell Dobbins of Virginia and Jeffrey Eldridge of South Carolina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
