We announce the death of Morgan Barry Boothe (Gonzales, Texas), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 75. Morgan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane III and William Boothe, III; and his mother-in-law Mozelle Henderson. He is survived by: his wife Lauren; his children, Allison Davis (Dean) and Morgan Barry Boothe, Jr. (Jennifer Ervin); his grandsons, Cade Davis, Cole Boothe, Morgan Boothe and Layton Ervin; his brother William "Billy" Boothe, IV (Sue); and his siblings-in-law, Glynda and Buddy Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Methodist Church (426 St Paul St, Gonzales, TX 78629). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
