She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Groff and Jewel Groff; her husband Ben Thomas "B. T." Spear; and her brother Darrell Groff. She is survived by: her children, Lyndel Orcutt (Janey), Randell Orcutt (Carla) and Sheryl Phillips (Brady). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (6969 E Interstate 40 Hwy, Amarillo, TX 79118). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 PM at the Dreamland Cemetery (26500 S U. S. 87, Canyon, TX 79015).
