He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Reed and Lanora Reed (Upham); his wife Elizabeth Reed; his son Robert Randall Reed; his grandson Jaden Solomon; and his brother Denny Reed.

He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Baker (Trea) and Ron Reed (Marci). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
