She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie D. Short and Lowell Short; her husband Mike Vardeman; and her siblings, Ernestine Hill, Ross, Leonard and James Short.
She is survived by: her son Steven Vardeman; her daughter-in-law Leesa Vardeman; her daughter Michelle Vardeman Martin; her son-in-law Steve Martin; her grandsons, Dustin (Ryan) and Cole Vardeman; and her sister Jan Iliff of Franklin, TN. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
