It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Wimberly (Granbury, Texas), who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Buster" Wimberly and Vada Wimberly; his siblings, Jake, Cloyce and Betty; and his stepson Johnny Baxter.
He is survived by: his wife June; his daughters, Cindy (Bruce Knudson), Cathy Williams, Pam (Steve Siebenthall) and Barbara (Byron Howard); his grandchildren, Nathan, Garrett, Jason, Colby, Travis, Ashley, Samantha, Nicole, Philip, Connie and Katie; and his sisters, Norma, Ida Lee and Loyce. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and one great-great-grandchild.
