She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schaffer and Ethel Schaffer; her husband Kenneth Chastain; and her sons, Darrell Hobbs and Ronnie Hobbs.
She is survived by: her son Kerry Hobbs of Snyder; her stepchildren, Michael Chastain of Santo and Ponnye Barnes (Cheryl Dossey) of Granbury; her grandchildren, Brandon Hobbs, Brandi Benavides, Landon Hobbs and Travis Hobbs; and her stepgrandchildren, Sheila Harrell, Brooke Doughtie, Brandi Barker, Jamie Hughes, Chase Chastain, Chrissie Percifull, Joe Jerren Barnes and Jalee Barnes. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
