He is survived by: his significant other Patsy Ruth Seale; his children, James Sterling Mitchell (Cyndi) and Renee Suzanne Mitchell Garrett (Kent); and his grandchildren, Bolton Sterling Garrett, Carson Riley Garrett, Dustin Archer (Mandy) and Dylan Archer (Leah).
