We are sad to announce that, on September 27, 2022, at the age of 86, Michael Alan Burkholder of Granbury, Texas, born in Barstow, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ben Ralph Burkholder and Terry Louis Burkholder; and his granddaughter Avery Young Rademacher. He is survived by: his children, Ralph, Shirey Shawn (Gary Buck Mitchell) and Leah Page (Joseph Kleber Young III); his wife Dixie Cowan Burkholder; his grandchildren, Michael, Megan, Ty Mitchell (Lissa), Ashley Duhe (Blaine) and Jake Young IV (Shannon); and his great grandchildren, Sibby, Caroline, Jay, Brooks, John Moss, Isla and Ali Grace.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Shawn Avery Young Rademacher Doctor of Physical Therapy Scholarship Fund at Texas Tech University or a charity of your choice.
