She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Burt and Marie Hull Burt; her siblings, Tommy, Danny and Nelda Herod; her husband John W. Garrett, Jr.; her brother Terry; her parents-in-law, John and Margaret Garrett; and her siblings-in-law, Gene and Patsy Ballard.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn (Danny Bell) of Springtown, Terry Garrett (Susie) of Azle, Gerry Garrett (Judy) of Kennedale, Diane (Herschel Henson) of Azle and Rhonda (Bill Ball) of Granbury; her siblings, Wanda Ballou of Benbrook and Doug Burt (Cathy) of Azle; and her sister-in-law Roberta Burt of Fort Worth. She is also survived by 12 Grand Children; 20 Great Grand Children; nieces, nephews, and great nieces; and nephews.
