He was predeceased by: his brothers, Garland and James. He is survived by: his wife Jo Higgins; his children, Grace Johnson of Alaska, Nancy Higgins and Ray Higgins (Sylvia) of Houston; his siblings, Joyce Guilledge (Marshall) and Troy Higgins; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer, Kimberly and Valerie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; and by 7 great grandchildren.
