He is survived by: his children, Tara Thompson Mayfield (Jimmy Mayfield) of Tyler and Blake Thompson (Paige Thompson) of Stephenville; his wife Rita Thompson of Stephenville; his brother Tab (Debbie Thompson) of Stephenville; his grandchildren, Kirk McClard, Hayden Herring of Tyler, Ava and Brooks Thompson of Stephenville; and his sibling's children, Kayla (Matt Cermak) of Aledo, Daniel (Carolyn Thompson) of Denver, Patrick (Kelly Thompson) of Houston and Reagan (Lindsey Thompson) of Stephenville.
