Trumon Yant Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Trumon Yant in Granbury, Texas. Though Trumon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Trumon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Yant (Buck) and Willie Yant; and his wife Alene Yant. He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki (Todd Shipman) and Leann (Neal Brockman); his grandchildren, Colten Bison (Katherine), David Brockman (Sydney) and Brayden Brockman; and his great grandchildren, Miller and Lucy. He is also survived by his family and his grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wiley Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Granbury (400 W US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM.
