She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Hines and Ora Hines; her husband Charles Dexter; her daughter Marla Vorhies; and her siblings, Kenneth, Ronnie, Brenda, Connie and Mike.
She is survived by: her son Joe Reed (Vicki); her grandchildren, Cole Reed and Amanda (Steve Williams); her great grandchildren, Blake and Ava; and her sisters, Darla Peters and Carolyn Huddleston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
