He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rhonda Sims; his siblings, Frank Sims and Sharon Tawney; his children, Joe, William Jr. Sims, Mary, Marilyn, Georgia Sims, Andrew, Brooke and Dillon Konyha; and his parents, Olathe Sims and Edward "Jack" Sims. He was also cherished by his 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
