He is survived by: his children, Thomas Vernon Monk (Tommy), Cynthia Denise Davis (Harlan) and Tammie Lucille Monk; his sisters, Nelda Jo Meroney of Grand Saline and Patsy Means of Grand Saline; his grandchildren, Konstance Miller (Monk), Kandace Phillips (Crisafulli), Wesley Davis, Mason Monk, Cody Monk and Mallory Thayer (Monk); and his pet Oscar. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
