It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Nelson of Grandview, Texas, who passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leon and Pearl June Pressley Nelson; his son Wayne William Nelson; and his brothers, Bill Nelson and David Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his siblings, Nancy (John Jones) of Oklahoma, Bob (Arvilla Nelson) of Vancouver and Dennis Nelson of Alva, Oklahoma; his children, Wendy (Keith Gist) of Arlington, Texas and Wade (Holly Nelson) of Hico, Texas; his stepdaughter Becky (Mark Phillips) of Grandview, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Sara Sealy (Jason), Lauren Arias (Heath), Kristina Rice (Blake), Amber Bigham (Brandon), Aubrie Nelson, Clayton Nelson (Zoey), Tosha LeFebvre (Ryan), Victoria Gambrel, River Nelson, Cara Cherry (Brent) and Derek Grippin (Debi). He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
