It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pat Hooser of Grapeland, Texas, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edwin Gorrell and Doris Keen Engelauf Gorrell; her husband Gerald Hooser; her brothers, George Gorrell and Mike Gorrell; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Hooser and Gene Hooser.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Cioli (Bob) of Grapeland, Terry Duval (Steve) of Grapeland and Tammy Akins of Grapeland; her grandchildren, Nicole Cioli, Erika Cioli, Alex Cioli (Brenda), Elise Stickrod (Jayson) of Leander, Sean Stephan (Jenna) of Douglas, Katie Mills of Grapeland, Kristie Wilson, Trey Lambright of Grapeland, Scottland Duval, Lindsey Shuart of Maypearl and Jessie Akins; her sister Barbara Richards (Dale) of Las Vegas; and her sisters-in-law, Grace Hooser of San Diego, CA and Brenda Gorrell. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home (700 E Houston Ave, Crockett, TX 75835). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
