Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sam and Della Kirksey; his aunt Mary Lou Taylor; and his parents, Betty Sue Wilson and Claude Dale Almand.
He is survived by: his brother Sammy Almand; his stepsiblings, Larry Wilson and Kay Henderson; his sister Sheila; his niece Samantha Pyle; his great-niece Christi Lee Hamby; and his grandchildren, Colton Hamby and Kaitlyn Hamby. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
