He is survived by: his daughter Tamiyra Hopkins; his grandchildren, Taj Moffett, Jahi Moffett, Eli Hopkins and Amari Hopkins; his siblings, Margaret Bacon and Roy C. Runnels Jr.; and his uncle N. L. Runnels. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Through his years of service, he devoted himself to helping others and made a meaningful contribution to his community.
