We announce the death of Carolyn Garrett of Grapevine, Texas, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 90. Carolyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Carolyn’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jay Roderick and Rod Roderick; her husband Wayne Garrett; and her children, Mindy Flanagan and Steve Garrett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Grapevine (700 W Wall St, Grapevine, TX 76051). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Grapevine Historic Cemetery (916 N Dooley St, Grapevine, TX 76051).
