He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Riley Deiorio, Sonnie and Phillip Cortez; his grandson Noah Deiorio; his parents, Homer Cortez, Sr. and Nora Cortez; his brothers, Bryan, Stephen and Adam Cortez; and his grandparents, Maria, Gregorio Cortez, Frances and Raynaldo Galvan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Grapevine (700 W Wall St, Grapevine, TX 76051). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
