He is survived by: his wife Melanie Olson Slocum; his daughters, Jill Hawkins of Napoleon and Laura Robertson (Randy) of Parker, Texas; his grandchildren, Josh Robertson (Katherine) of Coppell, Chelsea Robertson of Allen, Parker Robertson (Diana) of Allen, Nathan Hawkins (Katie) of Blue Springs, Daniel Hawkins (Madison) of Buckner, Stephen Hawkins (Makenzie) of Buckner, Grace Braga (Felipe) of Leawood, Caleb Hawkins and Gloria Hawkins of Napoleon, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Graham, Tucker Robertson of Coppell, Paisley, Lainey Hawkins of Buckner and Jack Hawkins of Blue Springs, Missouri..
