He was predeceased by: his son Scott David Wood; and his sister Linda Wood Shipp. He is survived by: his wife Pat Wood; his son Robert Mark Wood; his grandson Dylan Wood; his sister Wanda Wood Hamilton (Ken); and his nieces and nephews, David (Cheryl), Cathie (Ed), Dena, Kelly (Forrest), Kerri (Greg), Jenny (Joe), Melissa (Derek) and Karen.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club (1130 Trophy Club Dr, Trophy Club, TX 76262).
