She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Avila (Sylvas) and Juan Avila. She is survived by: her husband Juan Flores of Gregory, Texas; her daughters, Veronica Ochoa (Cruz Solis) of Oklahoma, Denise Villarreal of Gregory, Jennifer Fernandez (Jorge) of Ingleside and Sandra Ramirez (Adam); and her siblings, Ezequiel Avila (Sylvia) of Harlingen, Texas, Odelia Avila Rosales and Reyna Hernandez of Gregory, Texas.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church-Gregory (107 Church, Gregory, TX 78359). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Portland, TX 78374).
