He is survived by: his children, Lupita Perales, Bianca, Justin Skinner, Paisley, Lincoln, Nelson Sambrano, Alexis Sambrano, Sienna, Jose Severo Perales Jr., Cassandra, Mike Silva, Mikel, Nathon, Anastasia Cervantes, Autumn Silva, Roy Perez, Jackie Delagarza, Anthony, Jayce, Aurora and Elsa Perales; his grandchildren, Avery and Kinsey Garcia; and his siblings, Francisco Perales, Sofia Torres and Ninfa Perales. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
